Hindsy has been a magnificent servant to Elgin City and i'm sure he will be greatly missed by the majority of the fans as well as his parents Mike and Chrissie who have become fixtures on the terracing home and away.
Good luck mate.

Has he joined another club BWM? It's a shame to lose him, as you say he has been a magnificent servant to the club and will be missed. Is it known why
he's left?

Is this the start of the exodus.
There's got to be something far wrong at BB when a player as committed as Hindsy leaves. All the best Hindsy. |

He's not signed for anyone at the moment although I believe there are a few clubs after him. As for the reasons, i've got a fair idea which i'll keep to myself for the moment |

very sad to see hindsy go.off the park he is one of the nicest people you could meet . he was always a tough competitor with a great football brain.his lack of
pace maybe cost him his chance at caley thistle.a great servant to elgin city and he did play for the jersey and always had a great interest in the youth set
up and always willing to lend his experience when required.
all the best hindsy and thanks for the memories |

Sad to see Hindsy go after all his years of loyal service and his parents who have travelled home and away every season he's been here. I presume he took
up the offer from Tatters when he said that anyone who didn't want to be there after Robbie left could go. Shows what a mess we're in that we left our
longest service player leave when we're already down to a bare bones squad.

You presume correct Badgerfan. What a surprise. Mr Tatters opens his mouth without thinking of the consequences.
As for mess, you better believe we're in a mess. If they had given Robbie a bit more support and stood up to the SFA over the Spartans fiasco he would still be there. |

Sad for the club, sad for Hindsy too - that he should go in such an awful atmosphere and without a proper sendoff. One misery just piles on another. Was going
to go over to Montrose, don't know if I will now.

"You better believe we are in a mess" one man is solely responsible for the Spartans mess BWM, you are obviously Robbies friend and you are entitled
to be a bit biased, but for god sake, he took responsibilty when he quit - he admitted he hadn't managed in what is admittedly a very tough job. Had he
stayed would our predicament be all that better? No, not right now anyway, I for one definately thought it was time up- I'm sure there are applicants in
for the job, so here is there chance to give it a try.
Put the young ones in for the rest of the season, start building for next season when new manager comes in. |

Let's not talk politics on this thread, just express our gratitude and disapointment that David has left.
Nae Good is right Hindsy is one of the nicest guys I've met. Great player, who was very supportive of the youngsters at the club. All the best David Scott |

Best wishes to David Hind - he is a player who could never ever be questioned about his effort to the cause. It'll be very strange not having him in the
squad. Good luck for the future!

A great servant to the club and a really nice guy off the park. I think it's a great shame that he didn't get the chance for a fitting and proper
good-bye to and from the fans. I would also like to thank David's parents Mike and Chrissie who used to keep us company at all the away games. They will be
missed at Borough Briggs by the fans and friends they have made over the past 8 years.

Ahh, let's see - Hindsy gone, Sid linked with a move: Craig Campbell must be bound for Buckie or somewhere in the SHFL(!)
I hope Guy Kerr makes a go of it at another club, he's still got decent potential but needs guidance from an older defensive head. When you're playing alongside three other 20-year-olds it's no help to you, plus getting your confidence knocked week in, week out from the shichty results is just setting him back. |

Thanks Hindzie | ||

A personal thanks to Hindzie from myself for being a model player whilst at the club, and I am very sorry that you have called it a day, I am hopeful that
someday you may return, as you have a lot of years of football left in you yet ! If only some more players at the club could show the passion that you showed
in playing for the club. It will also be strange not seeing your mother and father at the games, as they were part of the small die hard supporters that were
always there to greet me at the away matches no matter where it was.
Thanks again Hindzie for the memories & here is a small collage of pics that I have made up for you and your admirers.
All the best for the future David and hopefully our paths will meet again. Bob Crombie |
