Are a lot of people going to this game? I'd love to see us get one over on them.

Totally agree with your last post We are Elgin. Annan are the one team in the league I would love to beat since they have beaten us 3 times this season
already. Here's hoping!!!!

Get your money on Elgin for tomorrows game..................A reliable source told me to do just that because Annan will be minus 5 first team regulars.

Even without that Annan team news, 3/1 is well worth a punt based on our home form alone.

Hopeless, absolutely bloody hopeless.
Pass marks for the two David Craigs, Zander Jack and Jason Crooks. At least they looked like they wanted something out of the game. I think Steve Mackay needs to take a long hard look at himself after that, he was caught out of position too many times just because of sheer laziness, and quite a few of us picked up on that. |

Agreed WAE.
Why does it take us till the second half to get fired up. Left back Craig was outstanding though, his best game in an Elgin shirt by a mile - who was it told him he was a striker?. MAybe with Macdonald fit as well Sid will have to work alot harder to keep his place. Shame McKenzie didn't get a run, in place of Twiggy towards the end, but difficult to change it as we were looking more like scoring by the minute. Still don't think Twiggy is a central player, he did well going forward, though, but theres more to it than that - we look a bit lightweight without Ross, so midfield cover was limited. The other young lads didn't look out of place - Zander did well winning the ball although didn't always use it that well - his wing man was a bit distant in my view, and centre mid we struggled to retain possesion. |

I would love to see us sign the David Craig that played centre back, he's really the type of player we seem to be lacking. No disrespect to Paul Kaczan,
but I sometimes think his defending is questionable sometimes, but Craig won every header, every tackle and seemed to command the defence (apart from the goal
of course!) Even though he's 39 I think he still has a lot to offer to us.
And who was that guy Steven Edwards that came on to replace Craig Campbell? He wasn't that bad, just looked as if he hadn't played in quite a while. |

I thought zander jack used the ball well considering the lad edwards could barely kick the ball, he had 1 desent cross the whole game and apart from tht looked
way out his depth. Zander was having to deal with the left back and left mid at times and done well. David craig put a shift in always wanted the ball and his
level of effort was what we are needing from alot of other players. altho we lost, i thought we desereved a point altleast.

I thought Zander was excellent against Annan. Very impressed with him when I've seen him play. The lad Edwards was hopeless though. Maybe he was played out
of position?

Heres what the P&J said yesterday about Edwards...
"Nairn County's Steven Edwards, who has been added on loan until the end of the season, having already put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement with the Black and Whites." |

Hi Banffer,
He's the very same Steven Edwards, who we had on loan from Ross County many years ago. |

Hopefully Craig Campbell and David Niven will have recovered for tonight's game!
