Next season about October time look out for the Hull KR fans coming to support Elgin.
My Nana is from Elgin so taking here to a game but im from Hull so loads of the lads are coming with me to help cheer the lads on, hopefully we will boost the crowd and win that day. |

50-50. You are becoming boring with your "pearls of wisdom". You say you are a member of the trust, yet you have still to come forward and speak to
any member of the trust board. I would like to think that if you are mischief making, or speaking the "truth"you would have the decency to come
forward as a trust member, and let the officials of the trust know your information.
I think we all know that eventually we must move from BB, as the ground is antiquated, and becoming most uneconomical to run, due to rising rates, and other financial burdens. So if someone is coming forward to take over BB, I would like to think that the club has made it clear to that the person, or company, that we need a new home as part of that deal. Maybe you are just being given half the story, as they know who you are and are stiring things up! I hope I am wrong, as I would like to think the club officials would let us all know the whole picture. The trust has had meetings with the club, and we have discussed some of the points made in the above views, and we have I believe been given some honest answers, but if that is not the case then believe me when I say, we will ask the question why. Don't you wory, it's just a bit of politics goimng on between a few people on the message board! There will always be an Elgin City, so just you start organising your trip with your mates, and you'll be made very welcome at Borough Briggs! |

Campbell, Mackay, Kaczan and McNulty spring to mind, who else? 50-50 doesn't do wind ups without there being some credibility behind the story, so I would imagine that at the time he heard the story it was correct, but we all know what modern players are like these days, they will go to the highest bidder. |

Going by Ross Jack's statements in the P&J today, he is indicating a clearout of the "Deadwood" at the club, and that he is looking forward
to bringing in his own players. However, with what has happened inthe past few years, Iwouldn't be too ready to jump in forplayers at this stage, as
Badgerfan rightly says, alot of teams will be shedding players to trim their budgets, and you will find alot of god experienced players still looking for a
club just before the start of next season.
It might be better to be patient, and try and pick on or two of the right type up, who can help bring on the youngsters, rather than just rush in now, to try and get a squad together. It may pay dividends to wait! |

This would be my view of leaving players, only 6 though
Shalliker Wright Mackay Campbell Ridgers McNulty - loan, but may return depends onCaley. Hope its not 8 as 50 50 says, we need to keep Ross O'D, Kaz, Nicholson. Also would be nice to keep Gillespie. So as a minimum we need a strike partner for Cameron or maybe 2, a keeper and a good winger. Thats based on the fact that Niven did OK center mid on Sat, we are OK for full backs and Nico will play wide right. Nice if Zander would come back. |

Having finished bottom this season, I don't think we should exactly be looking to break the bank to keep these players anyway. The club need to give the
manager some funds to go out and sign some decent, experienced players. Finish bottom again next season and we are going to lose our voting rights and we will
be reduced from full membership to associate membership. Bottom another two seasons after that and we will be out the SFL altogether. It's important we
don't finish bottom next season and the club need to ensure this doesn't happen by providing the funds to the manager.

OPENING THE WALLET BUT WE DONT WANT THE PLAYERS TO STAY JUST BECAUSE THEY SMELL THE CASH! LET THE BOYS THAT WANT TO LEAVE GO AS THEY ARE ONLY PLAYING FOR THE
PAY AND NOT ELGIN CITY. GET ANOTHER TEN NIVENS ON THE PARK AND WE WOULD BE UP THE TABLE AND A TEAM NOBODY WOULD WANT TO MEET.
