Apologies again for posting this so late and also if I'm repeating anything someone else has already said (again I've not double checked).

Fourth round of the Scottish Cup again, funnily enough 5 years to the day after the Kilmarnock game about which I've just posted on the dream team thread, Rangers v Elgin City. My Dad took me to Ibrox for another unforgettable day, the only time I've gone there and shouted against Rangers, my number 2 team.

According to the programme our team was Lawtie, Nicol, Buchan, Tommy Wilson, Finnie,Dingwall, Davidson, Douglas, Bavidge, Kellas and Cowie, Subs Ian Wilson and McKen.

If I remember correctly, unfortunately Colin Jackson scored with a header at the Broomloan end about 5 minutes into the game, and we went on to lose gallantly 3 - 0, but that didn't stop the travelling band from raising the rafters.

Happy Days again.

Another enduring memory of home games is the guy who seemd to be perpetually drunk and whose sole (but repeated) contribution to matches was the refrain "Gerry, Gerry, Gerry"! As a young boy I found the whole thing a bit bemusing but it's funny how these things stick in the mind.
