I apologise if anyone already knows this, but I thought it might be usefull to explain to anyone who wasn't there at the last meeting what the one on the 26th is all about.
At the last one we all agreed the way forward was to form a Trust. The next step is to form a steering group who will, as the name suggests, steer us to the first ever meeting of Elgin City Supporters Trust.
This steering group will meet and organise/discuss various topics, not least of all our constitution. As well as this they will agree fees, membership,setting up a bank account etc. We will also be looking for 2 or 3 people to organise elections for the posts on the board of the Trust e.g Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and other such positions. The election group need to be independant of anyone else standing for election
As you can see it will be a busy time for the group but I'm sure in the end when we hold our first meeting it will all have been worth it.
If anyone wants to come that hasn't attended any other meetings you will be most welcome. Hope to see a good turn out on the 26th.
