Although Elgin lost 6-0 and it could have been much worse, there were some good periods were Elgin played some good football. Considering that they have had
quite a lot of difficulties with losing players and not having consistency with their coaching they didn't do too bad. If they worked on getting the ball
played earlier their performances would improve quickly, too many times opportunities to attack were lost with players holding on to the ball too long.
Martin Charlesworth was manager for the game and did very well, encouraging the players all the time, I never heard a single negative comment from him the
whole game, Well done Martin.
