Anybody have a view on the match last night? Press reports seem to suggest we played ok but gave 2 points away.

It was a game we should have won. Frizzell missed 2 basic tap in's, and could have had a third. Their keeper had a blinder of a game, saving shots from
all angles. We also had a howling gale to contend with in the second half, but I must say we seemed to play better against it. The ref. was a numpty, only word
I can use on the web site. He spoiled the game with always giving free kicks which were obviously not, and most against the City. He also had an assist in
their goal. The ball coming off his legs and onto an Albion player.

Aye, you've pretty much summed it up there Knock. Frizz really should have scored two and their keeper had three fantastic saves.. crikey it could have
been a cricket score! Not bad for a team with only one striker on the pitch - again! I take it Charlesworth is still not fit, he was named as a sub but
didn't come on (in fact no-one came on. Maybe someone should tell Robbie that some of those guys that hang around in the dugout are subs and are allowed to
come on at some point!
 ). Shally missing again - flying late on Wednesday again;
perhaps Mr Tatters could put in a word!
All in all a strange match spoiled by a strong wind and a weak Ref. I kinda thought that the Albion game was a "must win" - perhaps not given the Arbroath score. However, from here on in they're all pretty much "must, must win"! |

Played some decent stuff and should have won comfortably but didn't take our chances. There's gonna be a lot of dog eat dog from now til the end of the season and every point is vital. Its important that we keep behind Robbie, Kenny and the players. As regards the subs Charlesworth and Smith were injured and were only on the bench to make up numbers. I hear some of the main stand patrons are firmly behind the manager and team, comments such as Williamson take Frizell and Crooks and ____ off back to Inverness are just what we need. I shudder to think what the comments would be if we were playing crap and not creating anything. Certain individuals may get their wish sooner rather than later. |

For as long as I can remember the most negative section of the crowd are based in the main stand, maybe that's why Dave Robertson moved the dugouts in
front of the enclosure.
I'm at a loss as to what people expect from Robbie and Kenny considering the budget they are working to. It should be more significant that almost all of the people who visit this board are 100% behind the management team. Keep it up lads! |
