Hopefully for me this will cap a great season if Cardiff win the FA cup and Elgin go up through the play offs. I will certainly be enjoying my day at Wembley next Sunday.

I know that not everyone is interested in the FA cup that takes place South of the border but what a breath of fresh air this season has been to the
competition. Now I might be a little biased being a Cardiff City Fan but isnt it refreshing not to have one of the so called big teams in the competition at
this stage. All of the teams left in are there on merit and will grace the final, I am sure.

Joe,
You're right about oit being a breath of fresh air, but i'm not too sure if the sponsors would agree with you. However, tough, as that's the magic of the cup. It takes me back to the Scottish Cup in the 1966-67 season, when a little team called Elgin City got to the quarter finals, and were narrowly pipped 2-1 by Morton, who were in the old First Division at the time. It remains a record for a non league team, and I can't seeing it ever being broken in my lifetime. Mind you, the same record has remained a "Monkey on the Back"of every management team at the club ever since. But, Oh boy, they were great times. |

I wouldnt have said that Chelsea had no respect for the cup. They fielded a pretty strong team on the day.
I would hav thought that they would be more determined at this moment to win silver no matter what silver it is esp with Grant, having to prove himself, he would welcome any silver at this moment. |

Well done to Cardiff for reaching the final.
This will open a can of worms if they win it (and that is a possibility the way Portsmouth played). http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/cardiff_city/7294461.stm It will open the door for Celtic and Rangers to move South. |

What a goal from Joe Ledley. A goal to grace Wembley at any time or any game.
The FA cup has only ever left England once and I have a real feeling it will be leaving again this year. A sad note was to see Kev Mcnaughton limp off. The ex Don has been a rock this season and will now miss the next few weeks. How he doesnt play regularly for Scotland is beyond me. Gavin Rae had a stormer as well and deserves his rewards of a Scotland recall, even if it was due to injuries. Hopefully Mr A Ramsey will be a winner again at Wembley but this time it will be Aaron and not Alf. Just a quick word on the new Wembley. It is a fantastic stadium with first class facilities. However £3.80 for a tub of maltesers, £6.50 for a pie, £3.50 a pint. How can they possibly justify these prices. And the transport links are poor. Only Wembley park station was open after the game and the station was chaos with around 75 -80 thousand people heading back in to the station for onward journeys. However in spite of this nothing could spoil the day out. Well come on 17 May - another day out in London and another Cardiff win. (please) |

Just a normal filling but it came in a fancy box and the claims that the pie was hand crafted. Needless to say I never bought one.
