What's happening with him? Has he signed a new contract or moved on to another club? I can't remember hearing anything about him since the season
finished.

Off to America. Football(soccer) scholarship I think. Had to get through a couple of trials first but he made it.

Shame to lose him as he's a good player, but good luck to him in America. Hopefully he'll have the same kind of success that Adam Moffat has had!

What was the name of the other young lad we had (maybe our 2nd or 3rd season in the SFL) didn't he go over to the States on a soccer scholarship? He signed
from Albion and always had a habit of scoring against them, quite small, but always ran his socks off. Whatever happened to him?

Ypou're thinking of wee Sheffy (Ryan McSheffery) who was one of John McVeighs youngsters, who we signed from Albion Rovers. And you're right, he did head to the US , but I don't knoiw how he got on. I'll check with Willie Furphy at the weekend, to find out if he's heard how he's doing, and let you know. |
