Hi folks,
I'm seeking your help. I'm coming to the UK from Australia to see some football, and am really hopeful to see Elgin City v Rangers on November 24 from a home supporter area. For some reason I've always wanted to see a lower division Scottish club and I figure this would be as good an occasion as any, but I definitely want to watch with the home supporters, I'm not a fan of either old firm club. I'm wondering is it possible to pre-book a ticket for this game? I can't see anything on the Elgin City website about pre-booking tickets, I've tried emailing the club and haven't heard back, and tried calling but can't get through (may have the area code wrong or something), so hoping you people can help.
Also, I'm considering doing the game as a day trip from London (because I have free accommodation there) rather than staying in Elgin or anywhere else up north. Has anyone tried doing a return trip to London from Elgin in one day, or vice versa? Is it realistic and what's the easiest way to do it ... I'm guessing flying through Aberdeen or Inverness then getting the train? Is one way generally quicker or easier than the other?
Your help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
